A KIWI and an Australian have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a Gold Coast cannabis dealer who was strangled in a robbery gone wrong.
Two New Zealand men, David Galloway and Malakai Lui, both 20, and Australian Dustin Johnston, 37, faced a murder trial in the Queensland Supreme Court over the death of Daniel Dwyer, 46.

Barely a day seems to go by on the Glitter Strip when someone doesn’t pull a knife, gun, syringe or an iron bar on some hapless shopkeeper, service station attendant, pizza delivery driver or – in the latest robbery, which happened on Thursday – a teenage worker at McDonalds.

A CONVICTED drug trafficker once dubbed the ‘Mrs Big of the drug world’ is back behind bars after being denied bail on fresh drug allegations.
Nana Puscas, 57, was arrested on Wednesday after a police raid netted almost half a kilogram of heroin at her Ormeau Road home.
Police also arrested 52-year-old Nicolae Tufis from NSW, who they allege was restocking her supplies.
Both suspects have been charged with trafficking, supplying and possessing a dangerous drug.
