We are a boutique litigation practice with offices in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. We service clients throughout Queensland and northern NSW and regularly appear in all courts and tribunals. Our criminal and litigation lawyers practice exclusively in criminal law or civil litigation.

Our criminal law department is Queensland’s largest criminal law practice, with more than 150 years of combined legal experience. We have helped many thousands of clients in situations like yours. We have appeared as criminal lawyers in every court from the Magistrates Court to the High Court.

Cameron is one of only a small number of Accredited Criminal Law Specialists in Queensland. Director Cameron Browne has practised exclusively in criminal defence for over 15 years, dealing with serious crime, white collar offences and traffic law.

Mark’s Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management major) provide the grounding for a wide variety of criminal and quasi-criminal matters.

Lachlan O'Neill

Lachlan O'Neill works from our Gold Coast office, where he collaborates with the rest of the criminal law team, principally with experienced criminal lawyers, Bill Potts and Sinead Garland. Lachlan’s main areas of interest include crime, traffic and drug law.

Jack Bendall

Victoria Fraider

Practice Manager

Victoria has worked in the legal industry most of her professional career. Victoria has a diverse skill set and she has previously held roles in the legal industry as executive assistant, litigation support specialist and practice manager. As Practice manager, she works closely with the Directors and staff of the Potts Lawyers team to drive the strategic direction and operational success of the firm.

Jacqui Hespe

Personal Assistant

Jacqui has worked in the legal industry for over 30 years, initially in a chamber of barristers. Jacqui has been with Potts Lawyers since 2003 and has been a personal assistant to a number of directors in that time.

Hayley Madams

Personal Assistant

Hayley has worked at Potts Lawyers her entire professional career and for the past 15 years in the criminal law department. She is currently a personal assistant to a number of senior criminal lawyers.

Imogen Saxton-Heine

Accounts Officer

Imogen is the practice accounts officer and a member of the practice management team. They/She has worked in accounts and as a personal secretary in the areas of criminal and civil litigation since 2017. Imogen is currently undertaking tertiary studies in accounting.

Meg Darbyshire

Criminal Law Secretary

Meg Darbyshire supports a number of lawyers in the criminal law department. She has previously worked in customer service and management experience in retail and she has a diploma in crime and justice studies and is currently studying for a degree in law at Griffith University.
