Mark is a director of the practice and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management major) provide the grounding for a wide variety of criminal and quasi-criminal matters. He holds postgraduate qualifications in summary (Magistrates Court) prosecutions. Mark has also completed the Bar Practice Course and is qualified to practice as a Barrister; however his passion lies with hands-on dealings with clients and enjoys every moment of it. “I like the problem-solving aspect when helping clients…it’s more rewarding and you don’t get that as a Barrister”.
Mark has experience in a variety of major criminal areas, and has developed a detailed knowledge of murder, weapons, child/adult sexual assault matters, internet/computer offences, fraud, and major drug trafficking / production & assault matters. Having investigated and prosecuted major crime – specifically in these areas; he now combines this with specific experience in criminal defence during the past decade to provide efficient and effective representation for clients who can look for someone they trust to secure the best possible result.
Mark is a compassionate listener and strategic, being able to think “outside the box” and consider all options. He thinks it’s important to speak plain English and build solid relationships with clients so that they are involved in, and feel part of the process.
