Our client was charged with possessing (in total) over 120 grams of pure methylamphetamine, MDMA (ecstasy), cocaine and cannabis.  Our client was remanded into custody as his criminal history was very significant and contained many previous entries for drug offences.  

Our client is paraplegic and rented a spare room in his unit and the flatmate was a drug-dealer.  Our client was already using cannabis (to make cannabis cookies) but became addicted to methylamphetamine by virtue of his flatmate supplying him this drug.

Our client was charged with possessing (in total) 256 grams gross methylamphetamine, with a pure weight of 188 grams. Some initial negotiations took place which had the effect of no further charges being preferred upon our client.
